Milk Collection Sites
A joint project of BreastfeedLA, Kentec Medical Inc. and Mothers’ Milk Bank of San Jose
Call for Site Applications
BreastfeedLA with funding from Kentec Medical Inc., has partnered with the Mothers’ Milk Bank of San Jose (MMBSJ) to launch the Milk Collections Sites Project. We are currently recruiting up to 4 collection sites within Los Angeles County to receive technical support and equipment to become a Milk Collection Site. For questions regarding the Milk Collection Site Program, please contact us at (323) 210-8505 or email Program Manager, Cindy Young, at cyoung@breastfeedLA.org.
The purpose of establishing local milk collection sites (depots) is to normalize breastfeeding, make communities aware of the need for donated breast milk and make the process of donating breastmilk easier for local mothers.
