The Elephant in the Room: Bioethics Meets Breastfeeding
Please join us for a live webinar with Dr. September Williams on December 4, 2020 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
September Williams, M.D. is a physician-author, bioethicist, and filmmaker. Her fiction and nonfiction work wants to fuel our understanding of morality, and in the best cases allow us to test run ethical obstacle-courses in our minds in search of morally sustainable actions. As a Black American woman, September promotes narrative inquiry in bioethics through stories which are diverse, humanitarian, and scientifically imbued. Her nonfiction writing covers health inequity, bioethics and film. Her own fiction aims to engage across genres, widening the base of people able to recognize bioethical conflicts and work toward their resolutions.
