Jenniffer Duran-West

Jenniffer Duran-West is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and joined the California WIC Association (CWA) team in April 2024. Prior to joining CWA, she was with the Lundquist WIC program in Los Angeles for 19 years, giving her immense frontline experience in helping parents reach their lactation and nutritional goals. Not only does she have direct WIC local agency experience, she also has an extensive background in education, adult learning, lactation, and Motivational Interviewing skills. Jenniffer is an eternal scholar always in pursuit of knowledge which is exemplified by her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her master’s degree is in educational administration from New York University (NYU). She is an active board member at BreastfeedLA and immensely loves volunteering at her church and her children’s schools. Jenniffer is a firm believer in the value of family time with her husband and 2 children, respect for everyone she encounters, and always leading with the power of kindness.
