Summer Bridges, J.D.
Summer Bridges is a Los Angeles-based attorney specializing in business transactions, business litigation, contract drafting, real estate, employment, and general liability.
She has represented a variety of clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, Summer has significant experience in both complex commercial matters and transactional issues that face companies. She currently serves as Associate, General Counsel for C&F Foods, Inc., a family owned company with 400 employees, plants across the U.S., customers in 30 different countries, and over 60 different varieties of non-GMO specialty beans, peas, grains, lentils and rice available in supermarkets and warehouse clubs around the world.
She analyzes and presents various legal options and advice to senior management, including, Chief Executive Officers and Board of Directors on such matters as compliance, technology transactions, employment, trademark, and copyright.
Summer’s duties include drafting corporate documents relating to entity formation and governance, structure and manage contract negotiations, including intellectual property issues, analysis and revisions of contracts. She has extensive experience drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, privacy law and compliance, intellectual property issues, the representation of officers and directors of corporations, contract analysis and revisions of contracts.
Further, she has litigation management experience. She has managed cases in areas including personal trainer agreements, contractual disputes, commercial real estate matters, premises liability, litigation involving major retail and department stores, employment litigation, other tort and commercial related claims.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Bridges served as an executive at a start up internet company that was ultimately acquired by Yahoo.com in a talent acquisition. In her role, she specialized in strategy and online content. She enjoys working out at the gym daily. Summer became a board member of Breastfeed LA in October of 2017. Her love for breastfeeding comes from her experience as a mother bonding with her one year old daughter. She is extremely passionate about spreading the news on the numerous breastfeeding benefits for both baby and mother.
